Meet the Chef
Born in Chicago and raised in St. Louis, Chef Bonnie Moore began her culinary journey in a neighborhood bar and grill before honing her craft at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York. She returned to St. Louis to become senior sous chef at the acclaimed Annie Gunn’s under Chef Lou Rook, a three-time James Beard Award nominee. A honeymoon trip to Blackberry Farm in Knoxville, Tennessee, led to a decade-long tenure at the renowned luxury resort, where she spent six years as Executive Chef and deepened her commitment to hospitality, local seasonality, and community-driven kitchen culture. In spring 2025, Chef Bonnie returned to St. Louis to lead Idol Wolf at 21c Museum Hotel St. Louis as Executive Chef, where she focuses on guest-forward experiences, sustainability, and cultivating an inclusive, respectful environment for her team.
Idol Wolf
Inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Spain, Idol Wolf takes a playful approach to tapas style dining by combining local and seasonal ingredients with classic Iberian sensibilities. The menus blend traditional takes on Spanish classics with drinks and dishes that have a distinctly Midwestern point of view – the result is a shared drinking and dining experience that is uniquely craveable and truly memorable.
