Discover Boen Gård, a gorgeous pastoral retreat that was once the site of a regal estate owned by King Christian II of Denmark and Norway during the 16th century.

Enjoy a unique gastronomic experience at the hotel's Michelin recommended restaurant, which features modern takes on classic French cuisine. Diners can enjoy produce, from vegetables to berries to honey, sourced from on-site gardens. Local suppliers provide the remaining ingredients. Tastings in the restored wine cellar are guided by the hotel's sommelier and feature Champagne and wine selections from an extensive collection. In addition, guests can participate in salmon fishing on the riverbank, which has hosted visitors as far flung as British lords since the early twentieth century. Stairs descend to a fishing pier and shelters on both sides of the river.
