At Solar Do Castelo, breakfast is a lavish affair with a wide range of fresh pastries from Lisbon’s typical custard tarts to a variety of cakes, as well as a range of regional smoked hams, local cheeses and fresh fruits. A glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and a mug of Portugal’s excellent coffee are drinks not to be skipped. Breakfast is served in a buffet style in the hotel’s “São Jorge” room or in the courtyard.

The area abounds in local eateries and the hotel provides 24-hour room service, serving light snacks from salads to sandwiches and platters of local hams and cheeses.
