Hotel Château Gütsch is an alpine resort offering 37 magnificent guestrooms and suites, each impeccably designed. Relax in comfortable rooms and suites in the historic castle building or take in the elegance of the newly designed Orangerie Wing. Each of the grand guestrooms is distinct yet extraordinary, with luxury wallpaper, tasteful fixtures, and ornate beds. Guests can enjoy charming decorations, views of the nearby forests and Lake Lucerne, and curated amenities.

Each comfortable Superior Room features plush bedding and a minibar as well as a visitor’s card with access to special services. A two-story Family Room is great for traveling with children, with a living area downstairs and accommodations up above. Five different suites are also available, including the fine art-inspired Turner Suite, the lavish Queen Victoria Suite, and the spacious Corner Suite. Please note that some guestrooms and suites are only accessible via stairs.

Superior Orangerie Room: These guestrooms feature sleek interiors and a peaceful setting in the Orangerie wing. Choose a Lakeview room, an option ideal for guests seeking contemporary comfort with a scenic backdrop and breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne.

Superior Room: Situated in the historic castle wing, these rooms offer classic charm and stunning views. Lakeview Superior Rooms panoramic lake views, while Forest View rooms overlook the tranquil Gütsch forest. No matter which alpine vista, the guestrooms offer a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere.

Family Room: Designed for families, the two-level family rooms boasts flexible sleeping arrangements and a cozy elegance by featuring charming wooden-beamed ceilings, a marble bathroom, and a tranquil view of the garden. The upper level offers a main sleeping area with two single beds joined together, while the lower level includes a comfortable single sofa bed to accommodate a third guest if desired.

Turner Suite:
A spectacular guestroom, the Turner Suite is a luxurious Swiss escape, offering 72 square meters of space and an 82 square meter private terrace with panoramic views of Lucerne, the lake, and mountains. It features period furniture, a four-poster bed, and a marble bathroom,

Rachmaninoff Suite:
Named after Sergei Rachmaninoff, a composer who once stayed at the hotel while composing a symphony, the Rachmaninoff Suite blends historical charm with modern comfort. It includes elegant furnishings, a spacious layout, and sweeping views of the surrounding landscape.

Forster Suite:
Inspired by the naturalist Georg Forster, the Forster Suite offers a tranquil retreat with refined décor and a cozy ambiance. The stunning suite features a separate working area, sleeping area, and living room, all adorned with picturesque views of Lucerne.

Queen Victoria Suite:
This regal suite pays tribute to Queen Victoria’s 1868 visit, with a four-poster bed, freestanding bathtub, and royal-inspired design. It offers 41 square meters of space and stunning views of the lake and mountains.

Corner Suite:
Located in a prime corner position, this suite offers an escape into Art Nouveau-splendor. It combines classic elegance with modern amenities for a luxurious stay, and offers an extra bed for parties of up to three.
