Discover the red brick façade of The Lodge at the Presidio, located in the historic heart a former army post called the Presidio of San Francisco. The Lodge encompasses the former Montgomery Street Barracks. The barracks were built between 1895 and 1897 to house six artillery companies, a cavalry troop, and two infantry companies.

Enjoy the many historic elements of the original structure that were preserved. To honor the original 1897 floor plan of the barracks, the wallpaper distinguishes the newer walls from the original ones, and the contrasting wood on the lobby floor reflects the history of the structure.
