No two rooms are alike at The Griswold Inn. The historic hotel takes care to furnish each of the 34 guestrooms with antique or reproduction furnishings suitable to the colonial era. Guestrooms are located across the seven structures on the grounds, and the family cottage is available for groups looking for extra space. Select accommodations feature fireplaces or scenic water views. The Hayden House building adjacent to the Main Inn features two common spaces for guests to enjoy. These common areas include two gas fireplaces, a television, board games, books, and magazines.
Standard Guestroom: The Standard Rooms are classic guestrooms featuring Leonard’s Beds, traditional New England fixtures, and a simple yet refined colonial charm.

The suites feature Leonard’s king-size beds, some with fireplaces at their foot, spacious bathrooms with showers and vintage claw-foot tubs, and a separate sitting or dressing room. Family Cottage: The Family Cottage is a free-standing building situated on the courtyard of the hotel grounds called Griswold Square, just across from the Main Inn. Arranged on two floors, downstairs is one large room with window seats, a pull-out loveseat, a gas fireplace, a game table, wet bar, and a small refrigerator. The downstairs also includes a half-bath. The loft-like upstairs has two queen beds, a full bath, and a small sitting area.
