Guests at the distinguished American Club enjoy elegance and luxury. Each guestroom in the building honors a famous Americans with portraits, biographies, and various memorabilia decorating the walls. The Tudor-style hotel has a total of 240 guestrooms and suites, all outfitted with a world-famous Kohler showering experience or whirlpool bath, refreshment centers, and full guest-service privileges.

The American Club will begin room upgrades in The Carriage House on November 1, 2025. All 55 rooms in The Carriage House will be unavailable for booking between November 1, 2025 and April 30, 2026.

Guestroom Types:
Standard Room
Feel the luxury of rich fabrics and materials used throughout the guest rooms at The American Club. Each room comes with a beautifully upholstered chair and ottoman as well as a desk for those who need to get some work done amid busy travel. Standard rooms range from 263 to 349 square feet and offer one King-size bed or two double beds with a maximum capacity of two or four adults, based on bed option. Experience the latest in shower technology with Kohler's Showering Experience and Kohler bathroom fixtures. Select rooms boast a courtyard view.

Deluxe Room
A Deluxe Room is a step up from the Standard Room, offering more space and more seating in the way of a loveseat, or sofa, chair, and wet bar for entertaining. Rooms range in size from 333 to 476 square feet with a King bed or two Queen-size bed option.

Superior Room
A welcoming sanctuary after a long day, the Superior Room at the American Club offers dark wood, stunning tapestries, rich tiles, and unique decor from room to room. Oversized bathtubs, separate from the shower, are often located near windows and offer a relaxing experience. Rooms range in size from 385 to 485 square feet and a have a King-size bed.

Heritage Room
Ranging from 481 to 542 square feet, these rooms offer a King bed or two Queen bed option with a refreshment center that includes a wet bar, sitting area, and furnishing from Baker and McGuire. Heritage Rooms are also available at Carriage House, located directly above Kohler Waters Spa.
