Billy Bob’s history is integral to Fort Worth, first opened in 1910, and was used to house cattle for the Fort Worth Stock Show. In 1936, after a renovation project, the building became an auction ring which is now Billy Bob’s Bull Riding arena. In 1981, Billy Bob’s Texas gained national attention for its 100,000 square foot entertainment center, 30 bar stations, real Pro Bull Riding, and a Texas-sized dance floor that many country music’s biggest stars have walked on. Visitors to Billy Bob’s Texas can enjoy the large collection memorabilia that each entertainer leaves behind such as the concrete hand impressions displayed on the Wall of Fame, and the 75 guitars autographed by stars who performed at the club at the Guitar Bar.
