Situated on 220 acres, Castlemartyr Resort is home to the seventeenth-century country manor house that sits adjacent to the ruins of an 800-year-old-castle originally built by the Knights Templar under Richard Earl de Clare, known as Strongbow.
The luxury five-star resort was restored in 2022 by the Mayrange Hospitality Group and now offers 108 guest rooms and suites, along with 38 luxury self-catering lodges. Castlemartyr Resort is home to the two-Michelin-starred Terre restaurant, under chef patron Vincent Crépel, and also features a renowned golf course designed by Ron Kirby.
