Wyndham Merida

The roots of Wyndham Merida date back to 1912 when it was first constructed as a private residence with beautiful Spanish Colonial-style architecture. This marvelous historic structure was gradually converted into a hotel, eventually becomining the Wyndham Merida in 2015. This terrific holiday destination is situated within the majestic Garcia Gineres neighborhood of Mérida. Many prime attractions are just a few blocks from the hotel, including the museums, storefronts, and fine-dining establishments that line the grand Paseo de Montejo. Grand historic landmarks are only a short distance away too, such as the Mayan World Museum of Mérida and the Plaza Grande. And as guests travel further out into the greater Yucatán Peninsula, they will locate the area’s immense collection of Mayan ruins at such vaunted locations like Uxmal, Tulum, and Chichén Itzá.
