Located on the outskirts of the Hardangerfjord, Haaheim Gaard specifically resides in Uggdal on the island of Tysnes. The hotel itself dates back to the early 18th-century, when the Haaheim family purchased a local farm. Over the next 200 years, the Haaheims expanded the estate exponentially to feature a complex consisting of several houses. In 1907, they constructed the Haaheim Gaard as a guesthouse for countryside travelers. Today, Haaheim Gaard remains a rural gem hidden away within the pristine landscape of western Norway’s celebrated fjords. Framed by majestic mountains, the hotel affords for a unique experience with its countryside.
