Destination Vacation: Asheville’s Omni Grove Park Inn

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WJHL) – If you’re looking for a luxurious getaway not far from home, look no further than The Omni Grove Park Inn in the heart of Asheville, North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains.

The inn is more than just a place to rest your head after a busy day out in the city. In fact, many find that they don’t even need to leave the property to have a grand vacation.

It was originally opened in 1913 and has hosted guests from far and wide, including some famous faces in American politics.

According to an Omni Grove Park Inn spokesperson, ‘The Historic Figure Gallery’ on site pays tribute to those A-List guests, which features 10 U.S. Presidents, literary legend F. Scott Fitzgerald and cultural icons like Helen Keller, Harry Houdini and Will Rogers.
