Guests start at the hotel and have the opportunity to visit mid-century churches, general stores, and other community buildings. Or join an Insider Mid-century Tour of Scottsdale and visit the Frank Lloyd Wright Price House and Garden Apartment District. Both attractions provide wonderful examples of American architectural design and landscaping.

Travel to the Sonoran Desert by hiking up Camelback Mountain or Squaw Peak, or head to Papago Park’s “Hole in the Rock” for a closeup of the rugged terrain. Early morning is the preferred hiking hour as the desert sun is not directly overhead. Be sure to bring plenty of water.
