Explore the Fort Frederica National Monument. Located outside of nearby Brunswick, Florida, this remarkable historic destination features the remains of a colonial settlement established by James Oglethorpe in 1736. It is now listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Visit historic St. Simons Lighthouse, just a mile away from The King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort. The lighthouse was completed in 1872 and has watched over the Florida waters ever since. The spectacular, panoramic vistas of the coast, which are well worth the 129-step, spiral staircase climb to the top, and the Keeper’s Dwelling houses a fascinating museum.
