• Drive up the hill to the nearby Pete Dye Course at French Lick, and take in some amazing 40-mile panoramic views. The vistas have every guest wondering: “Am I really still in Indiana?”
• Head across the highway to 33 Brick Street, named to honor the famed No. 33 worn by French Lick’s most well-known native, Larry Bird. Ask to try on Larry’s warm-up jacket that he wore in the Olympics, and they’ll take it out of the display for visitors to take pictures.
• Explore the resort on the vintage rail trolley. Originally, it cost a nickel to ride the trolley in 1903. Today, rides are free and offered daily on the restored rail trolley that offers service between French Lick Springs Hotel and West Baden Springs Hotel.
