202 King Street Charleston, South Carolina 29401
The original property opened in 1889. A member of Historic Hotels of America since 2022.
The structure that houses the Fulton Lane Inn was originally two separate structures. First came a YMCA building in 1889 and later in 1912, a local businessman named John Rugheimer built a tailor shop next door. Almost exactly 70 years later, the buildings were purchased together and underwent a series of extensive renovations and restorations which brought forward the historic architecture of the buildings.
Today, the Fulton Lane Inn is an unbeatable destination for guests who want to explore the exciting city of Charleston. Some of the city's best monuments are located within minutes of the hotel's front door. The 45 guestrooms and suites provide a comfortable place to rest, with some offering a small seating area and a fireplace. Complimentary breakfast is delivered daily to the guestrooms and wine and cheese is available nightly in the lobby.
