Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, The Candler Hotel Atlanta, Curio Collection by Hilton, has been a renowned icon in Georgia’s capital city for more than a century. Many hail the building as an exceptional specimen of American engineering from the early twentieth-century. Constructed in 1904, the whole structure was the brainchild of a prominent local businessperson named Asa G. Candler. Candler, who had risen to fame as the founder of the Coca-Cola empire, had long desired to construct a magnificent commercial edifice in downtown Atlanta that would epitomize his illustrious personal achievements. When Candler’s impressive 17-story skyscraper finally debuted, it was a breathtaking sight to behold. Christened as the “Candler Building,” it featured some of the finest amenities and design aesthetics of its day.
Today, the Candler Hotel Atlanta, Curio Collection by Hilton maintains that same reputation throughout their 265 rooms and 34 suites, all outfitted with modern, ultra-chic décor and sharp design elements. These 100% non-smoking accommodations feature plush executive linens, a large work desk that includes USB ports along with an ergonomic chair. Enjoy breathtaking views of downtown Atlanta through oversized windows that open plus upscale in-room amenities such as flat-screen televisions, laptop-sized safes, in-room mini-fridge cooler, deluxe bath amenities, MP3 alarm clock, and complimentary Wifi. Accessible Rooms are also available upon request, and include features such as grab bars in bathrooms and visual alarms.
Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta on the famous Peachtree Street, the Candler Hotel Atlanta is in a prime location for exploring the city. There are several museums, such as the World of Coca-Cola, within walking distance. Additionally, there are two major sports and entertainment venues nearby. Whatever guests hope to see and experience in Atlanta, they will be able to find it in or around the Candler Hotel.
